Laura re-invents LW Clinic and is ready for business
The COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented challenges for businesses, resulting in many business owners choosing to re-invent and regenerate.
Laura Wilkinson, previous joint owner of Love Hair and Beauty, Preston, used the first lockdown to reflect on the future of her business and taking the current economic situation into consideration, Laura made the decision to re-locate the business that she had built up over seven years.
“I returned to work too soon after having my daughter, a decision I have come to regret. I now want to ensure I provide the best for her during the early years as well as run a business at the same time.” Said Laura.
Laura believed that a new, purpose-built clinic from her home in Grimsargh, would provide the answer. Plus, working from a home base would allow her more time to offer one to one support for her students.
When the restrictions placed on the industry were lifted, some four months after the idea was conceived, LW Clinic was open for business. Whilst trading was short lived, the feedback Laura received was extremely positive as clients clearly enjoyed their long-awaited visits.
The decision to break away from Love Hair and Beauty, wasn’t taken lightly, thankfully the strong relationship forged over the years continues and Laura is delighted to have her ex-partner’s blessing. The future looks bright for LW Clinic as Laura gears up to open her doors again.
